Hot in the Shop – New Releases for 7/13/2015 – NFL Stickers!! – The countdown to the 2015 National Sports Collectors Convention is officially underway. This time of year marks a slight lull in the hobby before things get really crazy at the end of the month.
Baseball’s mid-summer classic, the annual All-Star Game takes place this week. Veterans and a couple of high-profile rookies in Kris Bryant and Joc Pederson will be taking part in the festivities. A spike in interest from casual collectors and sports fans may translate to demand and foot traffic into hobby shops. Be sure to have some of their prospect and rookie cards on hand.
The tennis world saw an amazing achievement this weekend by Serena Williams. Her win at Wimbeldon put her in some elite company and demand for her autographed trading cards and memorabilia has never been higher. While still a small niche in the hobby, tennis fans and collectors are a loyal bunch and often have plenty of discretionary income to spend. Can your shop cater to these collectors?

However good deeds do not go unpunished…saving Glenn and Maggie brought devastating consequences to him and his companions. This version of Rick from the Season 4 Episode 9 ‘The Suicide King’, shows the outfit worn during this rescue mission. The figure comes with approximately 22 points of articulation, an assault rifle, pistol, revolver, home phone, and machete.
The Walking Dead TV Series – Flu Walker (7/13/2015) – In our world, the flu can be dealt with bed rest and medicine…the Atlanta survivors don’t have it that easy. In Season 4, a flu outbreak grips the prison and some survivors found themselves going to bed sick and waking up a walker. This Flu Walker was one of the unlucky few claimed by the virus. The figure comes with approximately 22 points of articulation and flu-ravaged body.
