Industry Summit News: Upper Deck Presentation Notes – As might be expected, Upper Deck’s industry presentation focused on its NHL portfolio of products and it’s new e-Packs. It also showcased its new entertainment product “Dinosaurs” to dealers with free packs.
Company CEO, Jason Masherah, was quoted as saying that they have no plans to advertise e-Packs in traditional, physical hobby packs. Here is a run down of some of the things that the company has planned for 2016-17.
A NEW product for 2015-16, called Upper Deck Portfolio will focus on photography and feature rookie redemptions of players from the 2016-17 NHL Draft Class.
The product release calendar will follow fairly closely as it has in past years.
- August – MVP, Team Canada World Juniors
- September – O-Pee-Chee
- October – Artifacts
- November – UD Series 1, Black Diamond
- December – Trilogy
- Early 2017, SP Game Used, SPx, UD Series 2, Showcase OPC Platinum

- Holly Holmes Autographs
- Special World War II Museum Collection – Includes medals, relics and autographs of surviving military members
