‘FORE!’ Leaf Launches 2014 Legends of the Links Golf Set

 

Collection boasts cut signatures and signed scorecards

from the greatest golfers to have ever played the game!

 

 

Carrollton, TX (Jan. 8, 2014) – When it comes to selecting the cream of the crop for its sought-after sports sets, Leaf Trading Cards knows no bounds. Such is the case with the company’s first release of the New Year: 2014 Leaf Legends of the Links Golf. From Ben Crenshaw and Jack Nicklaus to Lee Trevino and Tiger Woods, Leaf’s latest release packs plenty of star power along with authentic signatures throughout.

“We had a lot of fun putting together this set,” said Leaf President Brian Gray. “We collected incredible cut signatures of the greatest golfers and then took it a step further by rounding up signed scorecards from the biggest names in the game.”

This week, using a special delivery of two unique collectible elements, Leaf is packing out one cut signature card (single or dual-cut) and one tournament-used, hand-signed scorecard in every box. Each of the cut signatures has been Beckett-slabbed for protection and all of the scorecards have been slabbed and certified by PSA/DNA.

Every scorecard boasts two signatures apiece as either side of the slabbed collectible reveals an authentic autograph. Scorecard pairings include the likes of Jack Nicklaus/Chi Chi Rodriguez, Ben Crenshaw/Mark O’Meara, Curtis Strange/Fred Funk, Craig Stadler/Rocco Mediate and Billy Casper/Calvin Peete, to name just some.

When perusing the lineup of cut signatures that were obtained for this product, any knowledgeable golf fan would feel his own jaw drop when seeing names like Bobby Jones, Byron Nelson, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead and Payne Stewart. And the dual-cut signature combos include such star-studded tandems as Byron Nelson/Jack Nicklaus, Jack Nicklaus/Tiger Woods and Tiger Woods/Vijay Singh.

Each box of 2014 Leaf Legends of the Links Golf includes one cut signature card (single or dual-cut) and one tournament-used, hand-signed scorecard. Production is limited to 165 numbered 12-box cases.
