Set Boasts Character Introductions, Behind-the-Scenes Cards and Autographs from the Movie’s Top Stars!

 

 

CARROLLTON, TX (February 7, 2014) – In conjunction with tonight’s in-theater premiere of the blockbuster movie Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters, Leaf Trading Cards is releasing a 100-card collection chronicling behind-the-scenes looks at the film’s most pivotal moments, character introductions and even autographed cards from its most prominent stars including Sarah Hyland, Olga Kurylenko, Lucy Fry, Zoey Deutsch and Joely Richardson!

“We are pretty pumped about this product’s release,” said Brian Gray, President of Leaf Trading Cards. “As everyone knows, vampires in general are a pretty popular craze these days and this movie will introduce new stars in some very memorable roles.”

The adventure comedy film, based on the 2007 best-selling novel Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead, was directed by Mark Waters and scripted by Daniel Waters. It features a 17-year-old Dhampir (half human/vampire) guardian-in-training named “Rose Hathaway” (played by Deutsch) and her royal Moroi (mortal vampire) best friend “Lissa Dragomir” (played by Fry) living discreetly within our world after having escaped from their boarding school: St. Vladimir’s Academy. They are soon dragged back to the Academy only to rediscover the dangerous hierarchy within it.

Leaf’s powerful lineup includes 55 different scenes from the movie, along with 27 behind-the-scenes images and 16 character cards. The hobby-only release will include additional autograph cards from the likes of Sami Gayle, Dominic Sherwood, Chris Mason, Mark Waters and Dominique Tipper.

Each box of Leaf’s 2014 Vampire Academy: Blood Sister trading cards includes 24 packs with six cards per pack. Autographed cards will fall at a ratio of two per box.
