In high school, he led his team to a Class 8A state semifinal berth in 2018. Allen hit .414 with two home runs and 23 RBI with 24 runs scored. He was named First-Team All Polk County. As a pitcher, he was 5-0 with a .083 ERA. Allen received a Rawlings Perfect Game All-America honorable mention.
Baseball runs in his family. His brother Dylan pitched at Liberty University while Brady committed to the University of South Carolina. Armed with a strong arm and good glove, Allen played in 56 games in his rookie season hitting six doubles, five triples, seven home runs, and 30 RBI.
In his sophomore season, Allen played in 16 games. It was during the pandemic, and he hit three homers with eight RBI. The next season would be a better one.
In 2020-21, his junior season, Allen hit 13 doubles, one triple with 13 home runs and 42 RBI. His 50 runs scored in 57 games were impressive.
In 2022, he played for the Jupiter Hammerheads in Low-A ball. In 108 games, Allen hit 16 doubles, 2 triples, and eight home runs with 52 RBI and six steals. His .349 on-base percentage capped off a nice season, gaining him a promotion.
Allen finished out the 2022 season with the Beloit Sky Carp re-branded from their original name, the Snappers. In nine games, he had a triple and four RBI.
Allen has emerging power and speed. He’s an excellent fielder and has power to the opposite field. This is a big reason that some have him ranked as one of the top 30 prospects in the minor leagues.
Brady Allen Baseball Cards Worth Chasing
The first card to get is Allen’s 2022 Bowman 1st Chrome Prospects. The photo shows him with the bat on his shoulder in an old-time stance. You must have great bat speed to be able to get around on hard-throwing pitchers, and he can do it.
Another option is his 2022 Bowman 1st Chrome Purple Refractor Autographed Rookie. His signature is sharp, and it’s on card.
One last card could be his 2017 Leaf Perfect Game card. It comes in an autographed version, and all of them are limited.
