MLB Future Watch: Carson Benge Baseball Cards, NY Mets MLB Future Watch: Carson Benge Baseball Cards, NY Mets – The New York Mets selected Carson Benge with the 19th overall pick in the 2024 MLB Amateur Draft. There could be a question of where he plays since he can pitch and play the field. Maybe he will do both. For now, let’s first look back at his time at Oklahoma State University.

2023 was a big year for him, since lost 2022 to Tommy John surgery. In 197 at-bats, Benge hit 17 doubles, 7 home runs, 43 RBI, 8 stolen bases and a .345 batting average. His 59 runs scored in 59 games was solid. He pitched as well and was 2-2 in 10 games.

In 2024, Benge had 248 at-bats with 24 doubles, 2 triples, 18 home runs, and 64 RBI and 10 stolen bases with a .355 batting average and 72 runs scored in 61 games. His .665 slugging percentage and .444 on-base percentage were stellar. Benge’s pitching was solid too. He was 3-2 with a 3.16 ERA and four starts.  After the draft, Benge played for the St. Lucie Mets in A-Ball. He had 55 at-bats and hit 3 doubles, 2 home runs and 8 RBI with three stolen bases and a .420 on-base percentage.

In 2025, he started with the Brooklyn Mets in A+ Ball. In his first 123 at-bats, Benge hit 8 doubles, 2 triples, 4 home runs, and 25 RBI with 6 stolen bases and a .415 on-base percentage and 27 runs scored in 32 games. That showed why he is one of the Mets top prospects.

MLB Future Watch: Carson Benge Baseball Cards, NY Mets Benge has a sweet left-handed swing, the ability to hit to all fields, and speed. He has a great arm. So far, the Mets haven’t wanted him to pitch. You never know if they will change their minds in the future. For now, he is still a must collect.

One card to get Benge’s 2025 Bowman Chrome Blue Raywave Refractor numbered to 150. It’s a color match card and the photo shows him in action running the bases.

Another card is his 2024 1st Bowman Draft Chrome Autograph Aqua Lava Refractor numbered to 199. This is another cool tech card with a clear Mets blue autograph.

The last card is his 2024 Bowman’s Best Autograph Refractor. The card is signed in blue on-card. All of the blue and orange makes it a striking card.
