As a freshman in 2015 he played in just 12 games. He did get a few RBI.
In 2016, he hit 12 doubles, 6 triples, 2 home runs with 29 RBI, 10 stolen bases and a .326 batting average.
In 2017, Meyers hit 7 doubles, 1 home run, 16 RBI with 20 stolen bases and a .439 on-base percentage, both led the team. After the draft, he played in Rookie-Ball, hitting 4 doubles, 3 home runs and 10 RBI with 11 stolen bases.
In 2018, he got as high as A+ Ball with the Buies Creek Astros. He played for two teams and his combined numbers were 31 doubles, 3 triples, 8 home runs and 46 RBI and 16 stolen bases.
In 2019, he got as high as AA with the Fayetteville Woodpeckers. His combined numbers were 28 doubles, 3 triples, 8 home runs and 41 RBI with 55 runs scored in 87 games.
The pandemic was a lost year for Meyers.
In 2022, he split between AAA and the Astros. Over 52 games, Meyers hit 1 home run with 15 RBI.
In 2023, he got 309 at-bats, hitting 16 doubles, 10 home runs, 33 RBI and 5 steals. Again, he was just a part-time player on a championship team who won the year before.
In 2024, he hit 20 doubles, 3 triples, 13 home runs and 61 RBI with 11 stolen bases. That was better and he finally was getting regular playing time.
MLB Future Watch: Jake Meyers Baseball Cards Worth Chasing
One card to get is Meyers’s 2022 Topps Finest Rookie. It’s a well designed card, with an on-card autograph.
Another cool card is his 2024 Topps Series 2 Black. The card is limited to just 73 and the photo on the card shows him showing off a lot of emotion. It’s a great card.
One last card is his 2022 Topps Triple Threads Rookie and Phenom Relics Gold. The card is serial-numbered to just 35 and it’s fun to go back to an older release and see who is doing well. This is a case where it took a bit longer, but he has a lot of cards out there to choose from.
