MLB Future Watch: Kristian Campbell Baseball Cards, Boston Red Sox – The Boston Red Sox drafted Kristian Campbell in the fourth round, a compensatory pick, of the 2023 MLB Amateur Draft. This talented infielder is versatile and can play in the outfield too.
In 2022, he played in the Northwoods League. He hit 10 doubles, 3 triples, 2 home runs, and 45 RBI with 31 stolen bases and a .356 batting average. His .469 on-base percentage and .463 slugging percentage were tremendous. But could he follow them up?
In 2023, he attended Georgia Tech. He hit 16 doubles, 1 triple, 4 homers, and 24 RBI with 4 stolen bases and a .376 batting average. He had a .484 on-base percentage and a .549 slugging percentage with a 1.033 OPS. What a season!
After the draft, he started in Rookie Ball and ended the season in A+ Ball with the Greenville Drive. His combined numbers were 4 doubles, 2 triples, 1 home run, 5 RBI with 3 stolen bases, and a .309 batting average. He had a .441 on-base percentage with a .471 slugging percentage.
In 2024, he ripped through the Red Sox minor leagues. He played for three teams ending with the Worcester Red Sox. He got 430 at-bats, a good way to see where he was at. Campbell had an equal split at shortstop and second base playing 36 games in each. He played five at third base with 24 in center field and 16 at designated hitter. That’s the definition of versatility. His combined numbers were 32 doubles, 3 triples, 20 home runs, and 77 RBI with 24 stolen bases and a .330 batting average with .439 on-base percentage and a .558 slugging percentage.
Campbell won some awards in 2024 including MiLB Hitter, Breakout Player of the Year. He added 15 pounds of muscle in the offseason, and he’s already 6’3” so, now he’s more powerful. He has some movement in his bat before the pitch. The next thing you notice is he has great wrists and now good power. He can hit a bad ball out of the ballpark too, something that will help him in the big leagues.

One card to get is Campbell’s 2023 Bowman 1st Draft Gold Autograph. It’s a nice one.
Another card is his 2024 Topps Pro Debut card. It shows him batting.
One last card is his 2024 Bowman Draft In Action Green Refractor numbered to just 99. This card is unusual and worth looking for.
