This combo forward learned well from his dad. His continued improvement and development are hallmarks of his career.

Growing up in Fort Wayne, IN, Brooks took off as a sophomore at North Side High School. There, he put up 20.5 PPG and 7.4 RPG. He also led his team to a berth in the state championship game. As a senior, Brooks competed for La Lumiere School alongside fellow future NBA player Isaiah Stewart and posted 20.1 PPG and 7.5 RPG as the team made the championship of the GEICO Nationals.

A Jordan Brand Classic selectee, Brooks was a Rivals and 247Sports five-star recruit. With many prominent scholarship offers in hand, Brooks selected Kentucky.

However, after three years in the Wildcats’ deep rotation where he did not average above 9.1 FGA, Brooks transferred to Washington. Betting on himself paid off for Brooks, as his PPG rose from 10.8 in his final season in Lexington to 17.7 and 21.1 in his two years as a Husky. Significantly, Brooks also peaked in his senior season with .380 3%.

NBA Future Watch: Keion Brooks Jr. Basketball Cards, New Orleans Pelicans Landing with New Orleans after the 2024 NBA Draft, Brooks spent most of the following season playing for the Birmingham Squadron in the G League. As Brooks continues to refine his offensive game, he will put himself in prime position to take advantage of the many opportunities that New Orleans will offer for the next few seasons.

Brooks’s cards and stickers became available in 2021. Parallels and inserts can be found. Thus far, Bowman University and Leaf have his cards. Some of the most valued variations available on eBay presently include the 2021-22 1st Chrome RC Red Shimmer, Orange Shimmer 1st Refractor, and Autographed Lava Refractor. Cards jointly signed by Brooks and John Calipari are certainly valued also.
