Next Yu-Gi-Oh Championship Series Tournament Announced – Konami’s annual Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series season is in full swing. Just last month they concluded a YCS event in Tacoma, Washington. Almost 700 players attended the event as attendance at such events continues to be very strong.
The next event for 2015 will be taking place in Rosemont, Illinois. The expectations for Rosemont are high where attendance is expected to be very strong, with over 1,200 expected participants. Previous Yu-Gi-Oh! events in the Chicago area have always drawn huge crowds.
However, many more players attend just to be part of the experience. Retailers are encouraged to start the planning process now to be sure stores are well prepared to handle the influx of hardcore gamers and casual YGO players as they converge on the Rosemont area.
