NFL Future Watch: Chuba Hubbard Football Cards Carolina Panthers – The Carolina Panthers drafted Chuba Hubbard in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. To show how much in demand he was, a CFL team drafted him. It makes sense since he was born in Edmonton, Alberta Canada.
Hubbard played high school football at Bev Facey Community High School in Sherwood Park. In three seasons, he gained 6,880 yards with 82 touchdowns. After that, he committed to Oklahoma State University.
Hubbard redshirted his first season in 2017. That’s life at a big university.
In 2018, he had 124 carries, gaining 740 yards with seven touchdowns. Hubbard had 23 receptions for 229 yards and two touchdowns.
2019 was a big year for the third year running back. He carried the rock 328 times for 2,094 yards and 21 touchdowns. He won a few awards that season: Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year, Jon Cornish Trophy for the top Canadian in NCAA football, and Unanimous All-American.
2020 would be his final year in Oklahoma. During the pandemic, he played in seven games carrying the ball 133 times for 625 yards. A stellar 4.7 yards per carry average with five touchdowns. As a receiver, he had one touchdown as well. For his career, he had 3,938 yards and 36 touchdowns.
Hubbard has been with the Panthers since 2021, and while they’ve been awful, he’s been getting better every season. It’s worth recognizing the season he’s having. Early in November, he had 153 yards and a touchdown against the New York Giants. After 11 games, he had 177 carries for 876 yards and seven touchdowns. He is currently involved in 73% of his teams’ snaps and is fifth in the league in rushing. Hubbard is only 25, and is worth collecting.

One card to get is Hubbard’s 2021 Donruss Elite Pen Pals Rookie. The on-card autograph is sharp and clean and it’s a good time to get one.
Another cool card with some staying power is his 2021 Panini Laser Rookie Autograph, numbered to 99. The card has some color matching going on and it’s a nice autograph showing him in his Panthers best.
One last card to get is his 2023 Panini Select Premier Prizm Tie-Dye numbered to just 25. This card is groovy and shows him running with the ball. It’s a psychedelic experience just looking at it, so add it to your collection!
