NFL Future Watch: David Bell Football Cards, Cleveland Browns – David Bell was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft. At 6’1” and over 200 pounds this wide receiver is the perfect target for any quarterback.
Bell scored a lot of touchdowns at Warren Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. After he left there, he committed to Purdue University.
In 2019, as a freshman, he had a massive year catching 86 passes for 1,035 yards and seven touchdowns. He had one rushing touchdown as well. He received Big Ten Freshman of the Year honors as well as Second-Team All-Big Ten.
In 2020, during the pandemic, Bell played in six games, catching 53 passes for 625 yards and eight touchdowns. He was elevated to First-Team All-Big Ten for the first time and something he would repeat in 2021.
In 2021, Bell played in 11 games. He caught a career-high 93 passes for 1,286 yards and six touchdowns. Bell won the Richter-Howard Receiver of the Year Award. After the season ended, he decided to enter the NFL Draft.
Bell took part in the NFL Combine. He ran a 4.65 in the 40-yard dash and had a 33-inch vertical. His broad jump was a solid 9’10”. All of it was solid, none of it was special, and that might have contributed to making him a third rounder.
15 wide receivers were taken before Bell. He had a standout training camp showing off his slick stutter steps and great feet and hands. He knows how to shake defenders and keep his feet in bounds. His ability to find the soft spots in zone coverage and then get the extra yards after the catch will make him popular with the Cleveland quarterbacks.

One great card to get is his 2022 Panini Chronicles Rookie. He’s shown in his Boilermaker’s gear. The picture shows him cradling the ball and getting more yards after the catch.
A harder card to get would be a 2022 Panini Legacy Rookie Auto. It is serial-numbered, and there are different colors. His autograph is unique for sure.
One last card to look for is his 2022 Leaf Metal Draft Touchdown Kings Silver Auto. The crown in the photo looks good, and the card itself shows off the intense look on Bell’s face.
Collect this player before he has a few big games. He’s lying in the weeds, but after this post that may not be the case.
