He grew up in Canton, Ohio, home of the Football Hall of Fame. Fannin played his high school football at McKinley. Back then, he was a defensive back and tight end. He had 106 tackles, two interceptions, four fumble recoveries with two defensive touchdowns and was aptly named First-Team All-Ohio. Offensively, Fannin made 36 receptions for 601 yards and six touchdowns. His next step would be playing for Bowling Green University.
Fannin played in 11 games as a freshman. He caught 19 passes for 218 yards and one touchdown. It was a start.
In his sophomore year, he had 44 receptions for 633 yards and six touchdowns. That’s a lot of production for a tight end and he received All-Mid-American Conference honors.
His junior season was massive. He was on the John Mackey Award preseason watch list. Fannin had a big game against Penn State catching 11 balls for 137 yards and a touchdown. He had eight games with 100-yards or more and started in 12 of 13 games with 117 receptions for 1,555 yards and ten touchdowns. He averaged 13.3 yards per catch and averaged 4.8 yards per rush with an additional five touchdowns. Fannin was the first Consensus All-American in the history of the Bowling Green program.
At the 2025 NFL Combine, Fannin ran a 4.71 in the 40-yard dash and showed off a vertical leap of 34 inches. His 22 reps on the bench press probably sealed the deal for a lot of teams but the Browns got him.
He had a strong showing in OTAs and got a lot of notice.

Another card is the 2025 Sage High Number Series Autograph. Autograph cards are where it’s at and this one delivers with a nice autograph and a little extra flair behind the photograph.
One last card is the 2025 Sage Football Black version. The card features him in his Bowling Green best and it’s a nice action shot. The black highlights make this card stand out and it’s nice in its simplicity.
