NFL Future Watch: Will Howard Football Cards, Pittsburgh Steelers NFL Future Watch: Will Howard Football Cards, Pittsburgh Steelers – The Pittsburgh Steelers drafted Will Howard in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. The 6’4” quarterback won’t likely start this season, but he might get a chance to learn from Aaron Rodgers. Either way, he has a chance to be the future quarterback.

Howard starred at West High School in Downingtown, PA. The Maxwell Club named him the Pennsylvania Football Player of the Year. His stats were impressive, throwing for 2,543 yards and 27 touchdowns in his senior year. As a three-star recruit getting offers from more than a few universities, he finally settled on Kansas.

In 2020, he played in nine games and started in seven of them. Howard completed 90 of 168 for 1,178 yards with eight touchdowns and ten interceptions. He added three rushing touchdowns too.

In 2021, he played in six games, still during the pandemic and he only started in three of them. Howard had just one passing touchdown and four rushing touchdowns. That was a bad year of development, but it couldn’t be helped.

In 2022, he played in seven games and started in five of them. Howard completed 119 out of 199 passes for 15 touchdowns and four interceptions with three rushing touchdowns.

In 2023, Howard started in all 12 games. He completed 219 passes of 357 passes for 2,643 yards with 24 touchdowns and ten interceptions with nine rushing touchdowns. His 61.3 pass completion percentage was a career best. After the season, he transferred to Ohio State.

NFL Future Watch: Will Howard Football Cards, Pittsburgh Steelers At Ohio State, he started in all 16 games with a 14-2 record. He completed 309 of 423 passes for 4,010 yards with 35 touchdowns and ten interceptions with seven rushing touchdowns. He was a CFP Champion and MVP of the Championship game.

One card to get is Howard’s 2024 Bowman University Superfractor Silver Holo. This card has some red to color match his game gear. It’s a great card.

Another card is his 2024 Bowman’s Best University Autograph. The card is serial numbered to just 75 and shows him in his Ohio State gear ready to throw.

One last card is his 2024 Leaf Metal Press Pass Auto Shimmer Purple. The autograph really pops with this color scheme. Collect this guy before he becomes a regular in Pittsburgh.
