NFL News Leads to Renewed Interest in Key Rookies – Often times, news outside of the hobby translates to activity and interest in the hobby. Such is the case this week with news related to two key players in the NFL.
First, the NFL issued it’s punishment to the New England Patriots pertaining to the “Deflategate” scandal. As a result, Tom Brady has been suspended for four games by the league for his role in the events that transpired. Consequently, this paves the way for 2014 rookie Jimmy Garoppolo to start, including the first game of the season on a Thursday night in primetime.
Secondly, EA Sports announced that Odell Beckham Jr. has earned the esteemed privilege of being the cover athlete for the new Madden NFL 16 video game releasing in August.
