NHL Future Watch: Brendan Brisson Hockey Cards, Vegas Golden Knights NHL Future Watch: Brendan Brisson Hockey Cards, Vegas Golden Knights – Brendan Brisson was drafted by the Vegas Golden Knights with the 29th overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft. From 2016-2019, he played at elite prep school, Shattuck St. Mary’s. In his last season there he scored 42 goals and had 101 points in 55 games. As a center, he has a lot of potential.

In 2019-20, after playing in six USHL games the year before, he joined the Chicago Steel for the season. He had 24 goals and 35 assists in 45 game and was named to the USHL All-Rookie Team and USHL Rookie of the Year.

In 2020-21, he played a partial season during the pandemic for the University of Michigan. There, in 24 games, he had 10 goals and 11 assists. During that season, he played in the World Juniors for Team USA and scored two goals in seven games and took home a gold medal.

In 2021-22, he was back with Michigan, and he had a much better season. Across 38 games, he had 21 goals and 21 assists. A symmetrical season for sure. After that season, Brisson played in 7 AHL games for the Henderson Silver Knights. He had three goals and five assists. In the playoffs, he was scoreless in two games. At the end of the season, as a young man, he played for Team USA in the World Championships. Brisson had two goals in four games.

In 2022-23, he was playing full-time in Henderson.  Brisson had 18 goals and 19 assists in 58 games.

In 2023-24, he had 19 goals and 19 assists in 58 AHL games. Then he got a chance to play in Vegas and scored two goals and six assists.

The soon-to-be 23-year-old has a chance to make the Vegas squad, a mostly veteran squad. Let’s see if he makes the team. He has a lot of tools and it’s worth collecting him as a result.

The first card to get is Brisson’s 2024-25 Upper Deck MVP Rookie. The photo is a nice action shot showing off that sweet Vegas sweater.

The next card to get is his 2024-25 Upper Deck MVP 10th Anniversary Gold Script. The photo shows him presenting his stick waiting for a pass to turn into a scoring chance.

One last card to get is his 2022-23 Upper Deck AHL Star Rookie Exclusives serial-numbered to 100. A great card to get of this developing player.
