NHL Future Watch: Cutter Gauthier Hockey Cards, Anaheim DucksNHL Future Watch: Cutter Gauthier Hockey Cards, Anaheim Ducks – Cutter Gauthier was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers with the fifth overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft. The big forward has a lot of tools and has a chance to be a big-time goal scorer.

In 2020-21, he was with the NTDP, his combined numbers were 32 goals and 58 points overall.

In 2021-22, he had 53 goals and 40 assists in 76 games played. During that calendar year, he played for the U18 team and had three goals and six assists in six games. Gauthier won his first silver medal for Team USA.

In 2022-23, he was with Boston College and had 16 goals and 21 assists in 37 games. A heck of a freshman season. He had 9 points in ten games in the World Junior Championship getting a bronze medal.

In 2023-24, he had 38 goals and 27 assists in 41 games. Gauthier was a Hockey East Champion. He was named a First-Team All-Star and was an All-American. During that season, he played in the World Juniors again, scoring 12 points in seven games and winning a gold medal. Then he was traded to the Anaheim Ducks. His plan was to turn professional the next season. He played in one game for the Ducks notching an assist.

In 2024-25, Gauthier made the team out of training camp. He had to earn it. The Ducks didn’t hand it to him. In his first 12 games he had four assists. Things didn’t come easy for the 20-year-old. Playing young in the best league in the world usually requires some adjustments and the Ducks are being patient. His goal scoring will come. Collectors should chase him because he has a very high ceiling.

Gauthier’s best card is his 2024-25 Upper Deck Series 1 Young Guns Rookie. The card has a nice look, and it shows him in his Ducks white sweater. I really like the new design.

The next best card is his 2024-25 Upper Deck Series 1 Young Guns Rookie Canvas. As you know the photo is always different. This one shows him in warmups without his helmet. A rare shot indeed.

The last card to get is his 2024-25 Upper Deck Series 1 Young Guns Outburst Silver card. This is a sharp looking insert with a fun design that really pops off the page.
