NHL Future Watch: Jack Quinn Hockey Cards, Buffalo Sabres – Jack Quinn was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres with the eighth overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft. This speedy forward has a pro shot and the hockey I.Q. to make him a terrific NHL player down the road.

The first big stop for Quinn was the Ottawa 67s. His first season there after he was done playing in the CCHL saw him in eight games.

In 2018-19, he played his first full season scoring 32 points in 61 games. Quinn added three goals and seven points in 18 playoff games.

In 2019-20, he took a quantum leap. Quinn scored 52 goals and had 89 points in 62 games. During that season, he played in the CHL Top Prospects Game along with the best of the best in Canadian junior hockey.

During the pandemic, he was allowed to play in the AHL. Just 18 at the time, he got in 15 games scoring nine points. That helped his development since he got to play under weird circumstances. During that season, Quinn played for Team Canada in the U18 World Junior Championship. In seven games, the center had five points and took home a gold medal.

In 2021-22, he mostly played for the Rochester Americans in the AHL. He had 26 goals and 61 points in 45 games. Quinn took part in ten playoff games scoring two points. During that season, he made his NHL debut with the Buffalo Sabres, scoring two points in two games. At the season’s end, he was voted to the All-Rookie Team and got the AHL Rookie of the Year Award.

As expected, Quinn made the Sabres squad out of training camp. In his first ten games, he had a goal and three assists. His speed, hockey I.Q., and battle were all on display.

One great card to get is Quinn’s 2022-23 Upper Deck MVP Rookie. He’s pictured in his blue Sabres uniform during warm-ups.

Another fun card is his 2019-20 Upper Deck CHL Rookie Exclusives. The card is numbered to 100, and he’s shown in his Ottawa 67s uniform.

Soon collectors will be able to get his 2022-23 Upper Deck Series 1 Young Guns  Rookie Card. This will be a highly desirable card, and it could be one of the best in the series if Quinn continues on his current path.
