In seven playoff games, his 1.10 goals against average was stellar. He backed that up with a .950 save percentage. After the season, he came to North America and played in one AHL game for Scranton and had a .926 save percentage. Let’s not forget he got a bronze medal in the World Juniors too. This was a banner season.
2022-23, was a shortened season for him due to two separate injuries. In 21 games in Karpat, he had a .907 save percentage. He played in one AHL game as well. It was a tough year for him.
In 2024-25, he played in 18 AHL games and 15 with the Pittsburgh Penguins. At the age of 23, it is a nice jump for the goaltender. He had a .914 save percentage in the AHL and an .885 save percentage in the NHL. His record was 4-9-1 on a bad Penguins team. So, while he has talent, the next few years could be challenging but he’s worth collecting.
