NHL Future Watch: Lane Hutson Hockey Cards, Montreal Canadiens NHL Future Watch: Lane Hutson Hockey Cards, Montreal Canadiens – Lane Hutson was drafted 62nd overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2022 NHL Draft. This 5’9” defenseman always had a high offensive game with terrific skating ability. However, for various reasons, he dropped in the draft, giving him an even bigger chip on his shoulder.

In 2020-21, he played for the NTDP. He had 27 points in 55 games. He showed great discipline and was starting to excel. In the U18s, he was voted a Top 3 Player on Team USA.

In 2021-22, he had 63 points in 60 games. His 10 goals and 53 assists made for a banner season. It was the second most points by a defenseman in the program’s history. Hutson had eight points in six playoff games, won a silver medal, and earned Best Defenseman honors.

In 2022-23, he attended Boston University and excelled with 15 goals and 33 assists in 39 games. He was an NCAA First Team All-American, a Hockey East champion, on the All-Tournament Team, and the Hockey East Tournament MVP among a long list of accolades.

In 2023-24, Hutson wore the “A” and scored 15 goals with 34 assists in 38 games. He was the model of consistency. After the season he turned pro and played in two games with the Montreal Canadiens, scoring two points. He had arrived.

NHL Future Watch: Lane Hutson Hockey Cards, Montreal Canadiens In 2024-25, he started fine but as the season went on, he turned it on. After 56 games, he had 3 goals and 38 assists. At the Four Nations break, he was the top-scoring rookie beating other forwards including Sharks star prospect, Macklin Celebrini. Hutson will be a Calder Finalist, and he is playing over 22 minutes a game in this special season.

One card to get is Hutson’s 2024-25 Upper Deck Allure Purple Diamond Autographed Rookie. The card has a cool design, a better color, and a clear signature. The photo really stands out as well.

Another great card is his 2024-25 Upper Deck Black Diamond Rookie. The cards are serial-numbered and the more diamonds the better. None of them are bad since Hutson has a chance to be a star in the league.

One last card is his 2024-25 Upper Deck Allure Doubloons Insert. This card has that classy gold look and we all know how fond treasure hunters are regarding doubloons! If you find this card, you’re likely to be just as happy. Add this player to your collection as soon as you can.
