NHL Future Watch: Luca Del Bel Belluz Hockey Cards, Columbus Blue Jackets – Luca Del Bel Belluz has come a long way since being drafted 44th overall in 2022. The Blue Jackets are an emerging team, and Del Bel Belluz is an emerging player with a great back story.

In 2019-20, Del Bel Belluz had six points in 58 games. That’s not a good way to start a career in the OHL, but he was a scrawny forward who had to build himself up over time.

In 2021-22, he had a much better season. Miraculously, he had 30 goals and 46 assists in 68 games. Del Bel Belluz added four points in 10 playoff games. It was a season of development.

In 2022-23, he had a split season. He started with the Mississauga Steelheads again. He had the chance to wear the “A”. Del Bel Belluz had 20 goals and 21 assists in 34 games. Then he got traded and scored 20 goals with 26 assists in 32 games with the Sarnia Sting. In the playoffs, the forward had 15 points in 16 games.

The next season, the pivot turned pro. The season started with the Cleveland Monsters. Getting a chance to play in 58 games was fantastic for development and he potted nine goals with 22 assists. He added two points in nine playoff games. In a one-game reward with the Blue Jackets, he scored his first NHL goal.

In 2024-25, Del Bel Belluz started the season in Cleveland scoring 17 goals with 20 assists in 34 games. The prospect was promoted in early January. Now 21, he joined a team with playoff possibilities and put up two goals and five assists in 11 games. The look-see has been so good that he might have secured himself a roster spot. That’s the goal of all young players.

One card to get is Del Bel Belluz’s 2024-25 Upper Deck Series 1 Young Guns Rookie. The card shows him in the Columbus Blue Jackets alternate jersey. It’s a nice card.

Another card to get is his 2024-25 Upper Deck Series 1 Young Guns Rookie Canvas. This card has a great look and a nice close-up shot of the talented prospect.

One last card to get is his 2024-25 Upper Deck Synergy Rookie. The photo shows him on the ice, but the red, jagged sections make this card stand out. Don’t miss out on this player.
