He started at Shattuck St. Mary’s, an elite hockey prep school, that Sidney Crosby and many other NHL players attended. In 2021-22, he was playing in 18U as a younger player and still scored 117 points. Celebrini had 50 goals in 52 games.
In 2022-23, he played for the Chicago Steel in the USHL. Again, as a younger player, he was masterful in a tough league. Celebrini scored 46 goals with 40 assists in just 50 games! He was scoreless in two playoff games showing that this league isn’t easy to play in for younger players. That year at the U18s, representing Team Canada, he had six goals and nine assists in 15 games. He was voted a Top 3 Player and walked away with a bronze medal.
Celebrini’s next stop was Boston University. He set a standard as a true freshman that’s going to be hard to match. He had 32 goals and 32 assists in 38 games. During the season at the World Juniors, he had eight points in five games. He was voted a Top 3 Player on Team Canada. His list of accomplishments at BU are too long to mention but he did win the Hockey East Scoring Championship, made the Hockey East All-Rookie Team, and was an All-American.
NHL Future Watch: Macklin Celebrini Hockey Cards Worth Collecting
Celebrini’s best card is his 2024-25 Upper Deck Series 2 Hockey Young Guns Rookie. The card has a classic design. It looks like he’s in warmups wearing that classic team colored gear. This is a hot card that will continue to go up in value.
Another card is his 2024-25 Upper Deck O-Pee-Chee Marquee Rookie. It’s another look in his best teal sweater.
One last card to get is the 2024-25 Upper Deck Series 2 Hockey Young Guns Teammates. It pictures him and teammate Will Smith who are already becoming a force. This is a cool card for sure.
