Off the Post: Blue Jackets Lose in Philadelphia, Seth Jones Post Game Comments -It was a tough night in Philadelphia on Thursday for the Blue Jackets. They entered the third period of their tilt with the Flyers hanging onto a 1-0 lead. Philadelphia stormed back in the third, scoring two goals to overtake the Blue Jackets. Seth Jones, All-Star defenseman for Columbus, led his team with 26:24 minutes on the ice and four shots on goal.

Jones was originally drafted by the Nashville Predators and made his debut during the 2013-14 season. His rookie cards feature him in his Predators jersey. You’ll find his rookie cards in the entire catalogue of Upper Deck NHL Hockey products from that season. This was also during Panini’s final year producing NHL licensed hockey cards, and you can find Jones rookie cards among their products from that year as well.

After being traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets before the 2015-16 season, Jones would be featured in his red, white and blue Columbus sweater on Upper Deck Hockey cards moving forward. After signing a long term extension in 2016, Jones would guarantee he’d be in a Blue Jackets jersey for the foreseeable future. Collectors can find him in 2017-18 Upper Deck Hockey products including MVP, Series 1, Series 2, Overtime, O-Pee-Chee and more.

Here is a look at some of Jones’ key rookie cards and some 2017-18 cards as he talks about last night’s loss with our own Russ Cohen. You can listen to the Off the Post podcast here.
