Off the Post: Flyers Beat Up Ducks On Saturday, Nolan Patrick Interview – After a tough loss in their previous game, the Philadelphia Flyers came out strong against the Ducks on Saturday evening. When the first period was over, the Flyers had a 4-0 lead. They held strong and finished with a 6-2 win. Center Nolan Patrick scored a goal in the win and afterwards he spoke with Russ Cohen.

Nolan Patrick was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1998. He was selected by the Brandon Wheat Kings with the fourth overall pick in the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft. In his rookie season with the Wheat Kings, he scored 56 points in 55 games. Despite missing 17 games that year, he still won the Jim Piggott Memorial Trophy as the WHL’s Rookie of the Year. Patrick would continue to develop into a top NHL prospect with the Wheat Kings, and was selected with the 2nd overall pick by the Flyers in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
Patrick made his NHL debut with the Flyers on October 4th, 2017. He scored his first NHL goal against the Nashville Predators in his fourth career game. He would finish his NHL rookie season with 30 points in 73 games. Collectors can find his rookie cards in 2017-18 Upper Deck Hockey products. Look for his Young Guns rookie card in 2017-18 Series 2.
This year, Patrick has played in 48 games for the Flyers. He has 20 points (11 goals, nine assists). Collectors can find plenty of his cards in Upper Deck’s 2018-19 Hockey sets including Synergy, O-Pee-Chee, Ice, SP Game Used to name a few.
