Off the Post: Marc-Andre Fleury Secures 400th Win on Monday – The Las Vegas Golden Knights continued their impressive inaugural season on Monday with a 3-2 win in Philadelphia. Veteran goalie Marc-Andre Fleury helped the Knights by saving 38 of 40 shots on the way to securing his 400th career win. He spoke with Russ Cohen about the milestone after the game.

Fleury began his career with the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2003-04 season after being chosen first overall in the the 2003 entry draft. He’s only the third goalie in history to be taken with the number one pick. His career as a Penguin was fantastic, as he helped the team secure three Stanley Cups. Pittsburgh fans and collectors can find his rookie cards among a number of hockey products from the 2003-04 season including Upper Deck, In the Game, Pacific, Topps and more!

With the emergence of Matt Murray in Pittsburgh, Fleury was left exposed by the Penguins in the 2017 expansion draft. The Golden Knights snatched him up and he’s been terrific so far this season. He represented Las Vegas in the 2018 All-Star Game where he won the inaugural Save Streak competition, saving 14 consecutive shootout attempts. Collectors can find him in Upper Deck’s 2017-18 portfolio of hockey products including Series 1, Synergy, O-Pee-Chee, Trilogy, SPx and more!

Here is a look at some of Fleury’s cards as he talks about Monday’s win with our own Russ Cohen. You can listen to the Off the Post podcast HERE.
