Off The Post: Owen Power Hockey Cards, Buffalo Sabres – The No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NHL Draft, Owen Power has shown in the short time he’s been in the National Hockey League that he can shoulder the responsibilities required to be an elite defenseman and a cornerstone player for the Buffalo Sabres.

After an impressive rookie campaign last season and being a finalist for the Calder Trophy, the Sabres rewarded Power with a seven-year, $58.45 million contract extension last month. The 6-foot-6, 218-pound Power finished his first full season in the NHL with four goals and 31 assists in 79 games.

So far this season, Power, who is only 20 years old, is off to a fast start. He’s already recorded a goal and five assists in 10 games.

In a recent 5-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers on November 1st, Power notched his first goal of the season and talked to the media, including our own Russ Cohen, about the win. Power discussed the ebbs and flows during the game against the Flyers, and how his scoring opportunity occurred.

Power’s official NHL rookie cards can be found in 2022-23 hockey card products. There are plenty of rookie cards of Power to choose from, but like most hockey rookie cards, the most popular rookie card of Power is his Young Guns rookie card.

Currently, a raw version of Power’s Young Guns rookie card is selling between $20 – $30 on the secondary market. If you were interested in a top graded version (PSA 10) of the card, they currently sell in the $80 – $115 range.
