Panini Redemption Report – 12-4-20 – Baseball’s back! – This week’s report from Panini America has 11 pages of redemption news! It features redemptions from Basketball and Football with cards coming back from as far back as 2012!
The big return news this week is that baseball cards were plentiful! Aaron Judge, Corey Seager, Shohei Ohtani and Austin Riley were among the current stars who returned for sets that were highlighted by 2019 National Treasures.
National Treasures was also the scene for returns from several legendary baseball players. Among them were Pedro Martinez, Cal Ripken Jr. and Bob Gibson. Cards also came back from Johnny Bench and George Brett from earlier releases.
Football is up next, and just like last week, returns included cards from sets released earlier this year. This includes 2020 Black, 2020 Elements, 2020 Impeccable and 2020 Origins. The signers coming back included CeeDee Lamb, Tee Higgins, Rob Gronkowski and Drew Lock.
Legendary football players who were active on the return scene this week included LaDanian Thomlinson. The Chargers uberstandout made a big return in 2019 Limited, while a highly anticipated 2019 Immaculate Collection dual of Randal Cunningham and Randy Moss also came back.
Basketball was fairly light once again this week, but was once again highlighted by cards coming back from the estate of Kobe Bryant. This time, fulfillments came in from 2017-18 Donruss Optic, 2018-19 Cornerstones, 2018-19 Encased, 2018-19 Impeccable, 2018-19 Donruss and 2019-20 Absolute Basketball.
