Panini Redemption Report – August 14th, 2020 – Many returns from stars! – This week’s report from Panini America has 6 pages of redemption news! It features redemptions primarily from Basketball and Football redemptions from products from 2017, 2018 and 2019.  

Basketball is led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who returned cards from 2018-19 Immaculate, Kevin Durant fulfilling 2018-19 Optic commitments and Bol Bol, who fulfilled for two sets released this season – 2019-20 Optic Series 2 and 2019-20 Crown Royale. Also returning were Cam Reddish, Kyle Guy and Pascal Siakam.

Hardcourt legends returning saw former teammates Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce each send in cards. Garnett returned from three sets, including 2019-20 Contenders. Pierce, meanwhile, returned cards from five inserts in 2018-19 Select.

In Football, DK Metcalf returned cards from 40 inserts across five products. Among the cards coming back from the Seahawks Wide Receiver are inserts from 2019 Obsidian, 2019 Playbook, 2019 Optic, 2019 Phoenix and 2019 Rookies and Stars. Also returning en masse were Gardner Minshew II, Luke Kuechly, Daniel Jones and Adam Thielen. 

Two legends also checked in for Football. Zach Thomas fulfilled from 2019 Encased, while Dwight Freeney returned cards from 2019 Playoff Contenders Optic.

Baseball, meanwhile, saw one return, as Nick Senzel fulfilled Rookie Signature Jumbo Material Booklet Holo Gold commitments from 2019 Panini National Treasures.Here is a list of all players returning cards, with names sorted by sport, on this week’s report:
