He pursued an education at UNC-Charlotte simultaneous to his racing career. Riggs will enter the 2025 season with an engineering degree and the ability to focus his energy to build on what has been a breakthrough 2024.

Riggs developed a childhood interest in racing just as his father’s career behind the wheel was winding down. He started Limited Sportsman events at Orange County Speedway at age 10. There, he raced for a few seasons before eventually winning the track championship.

Joining the CARS Late Model Stock Tour in 2016, Riggs qualified second in his debut race on his 14th birthday. A second-place finish in a race toward the end of the year capped a successful partial-season run.

In 2022, Riggs moved to the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series.  He dominated right off the bat, with 16 wins, 29 Top 5s, and 35 Top 10s. That toppled the defending champion, Peyton Sellers, and replaced Sellers in the record books as the youngest driver to take the title.

Riggs also started part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2022, earning a full-time ride by 2024. Riggs faced massive challenges throughout the 2024 season and missed the playoffs, but he never quit growing. With his first wins in the series at Milwaukee and Bristol, Riggs became the first driver outside the playoff field to win the first two playoff races. Riggs believes that he can replicate his success at previous levels and win a series championship in 2025. Who would bet against him?

Riggs’s cards and stickers include parallels and inserts that hit the market in 2024. Select and Donruss are the available brands.
