Racing Future Watch: Taylor Gray Racing Cards, NASCAR – Taylor Gray has motorsports in his blood, Though, the skill set that he may have inherited is not necessarily a part of his present success. Gray’s father drove in NHRA and his grandfather was a Funny Car driver, so the abilities that Gray has developed as a stock car driver are all his own. The same is true for Gray’s brother Tanner, who also competes in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
Gray started in late model racing at age 12 and made an early impression. He won at Hickory Motor Speedway only two months after making his debut there. Moving up to the CARS Late Model Stock Tour in 2019, Gray claimed his first victory, again at Hickory.
A year later, Gray stepped up to ARCA, earning two podiums in the main series and a win, two podiums, and a pole position in the Menards Series West. In 2021 and 2022, Gray really distinguished himself in the main series, as well as the East and West: eight wins, 21 podiums, and three pole positions.
Gray also debuted in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2021 and raced a handful of races in 2021and 2022. In 2023, his first full season, Gray earned four Top 10s and just missed the playoffs. Gray raced part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2024 even as he reached a higher level in the truck series, placing 7th in the standings as of September 2024. In parallel with his gifted brother, Gray is working his way toward the highest level of stock car racing and filling out a unique family legacy as he does so.
Gray’s cards and stickers have been on the market since 2021 and include a great many parallels and inserts. Donruss has many of them. Panini has cards under several brands: Chronicles, National Treasures, Prizm, and Prime. Gray has plenty of memorabilia available as well, much of it autographed, including firesuits, laundry tags, and booklets.
