Soccer Future Watch: Luis Guilherme Soccer Cards, West Ham United – Luis Guilherme is a young winger who is stirring great excitement for the impact that he will have for West Ham United and eventually for the Brazilian national team. He attracted the notice of Palmeiras after attending soccer academies in his hometown of Aracaju, Guilherme and polishing his skills. That provided the platform for the success that followed.
Guilherme developed for five years with Palmeiras before signing a pro contract in June 2022. Five months earlier, Guilherme led his team to their first Copa Sao Paulo de Futebol Junior championship. Guilherme was promoted to the first team in April 2023, gaining playing time gradually, and scoring his first goal a year later just after his 18th birthday.
Gaining attention from the world’s largest leagues, Guilherme made it to the Premier League in June 2024 when West Ham United acquired his services. On the international stage, Guilherme debuted with the Brazil U17 team in the 2022 Montaigo Tournament, where his three goals in four games led his countrymen to their first title in 38 years. Subsequently, Guilherme became the youngest player to dress for the Brazil U20 team in the 21st Century at the 2023 South American U-20 Championship. There, he helped lead that squad to their first title in 12 years.
