Topps Announces 2018 Topps MLB All-Star Rookie Cup Team –  The annual tradition for Topps continued today with the announcement of the 2018 Topps MLB All-Star Rookie Team. Twelve top newcomers were given the illustrious honor, with three teams nabbing two spots apiece.

Shohei Ohtani led the Topps MLB All-Star Rookie Team getting a combined pitcher/DH slot for the first time in the nearly 60 years since the selections began. The Topps MLB All-Star Rookie Team was announced on MLB Network at 10 a.m. ET on Tuesday.

Players will receive a TOPPS NOW card showcasing their selection to the team, including a limited autograph version. One card will be featured per week day exclusively on Topps.com, starting with Ohtani being featured today.

The Rookie Cup logo will also be featured on the players’ 2019 Topps Baseball flagship cards, starting with 2019 Topps Baseball Series 1, which is scheduled to release on January 30th, 2019.
