Topps Make Your Pro Debut Winner Joins MiLB’s Fresno Grizzlies – One of the great aspects of Topps Pro Debut MiLB Baseball Cards is the opportunity to win an experience of a lifetime. Collectors purchasing boxes of 2017 Topps Heritage Minor League were able to enter the, now annual, “Make Your Pro Debut” contest by finding specially marked sweepstakes cards randomly inserted into packs.
This week, the winner of that contest, John Springstube, had an experience of a lifetime. He was treated to the VIP treatment by the Fresno Grizzlies, the Triple-A affiliate of the Houston Astros of the Pacific Coast League. In addition to signing a one-day contract, being fitted for a uniform, taking batting practice with the team and being photographed for his own officially licensed Topps baseball card, Springstube was even interviewed for a local TV news morning show.
