Upper Deck made a commitment to include all live autograph cards in their 2013 Team Canada Hockey product. While there were no unplanned redemptions in the product, it was important to include two standout rookies from the 2013-14 Double Rookie Class. The only way this was possible was to use “Trade Cards” redeemable for these players. Customers pulling these cards can register them via online, phone or mail. Upper Deck released information on the odds at which these cards fall and who collectors can expect to redeem. The base versions drop at a rate of 1:288 packs at hobby and 1:2,880 at retail. There are also rare gold versions that are good for autograph parallels of these cards available only at hobby and are seeded 1:1,440 packs. The autograph versions should be available in the Spring of 2014. So without further adieu your Team Canada Trade Card Players are . . . Nathan MacKinnon (TC-1) and Sean Monohan (TC-2).
