We start the night off remembering and paying tribute to two outstanding athletes. One gone too soon and another with a full life lived. Last Sunday, Miami Marlins pitcher, Jose Fernandez, was killed in a tragic boating accident. Later that day, it was learned the PGA icon, Arnold Palmer had died at the age of 87. Our thoughts and prayers go out to both of their families.

We gave away a Fernando Tatis Jr. Blue Refractor Chrome Prospect Autograph from 2016 Bowman Chrome Baseball that we had pulled last week. It was a nice way to rebound the show from a sad, but necessary opening to the show.

Earlier in the day, we spoke with Zvee Geffen, Brand Manager at Topps. Zvee oversaw the development of this year’s Bowman Chrome Baseball release. We discussed changes to the product configuration, the scouting process and the inclusion of new Arizona Fall League content.

We took a look at two newer products, breaking boxes of 2016 Topps Apex Soccer, pulling a MONSTER HIT. We also broke a box of the new 2016 Panini Infinity Football.

We discuss the recently announced Topps promotions geared towards 2017 Topps Series 1 Baseball.

In Hobby News we look at The Golden Age of Baseball Auction planned next month at Christie’s auction house in New York City.

All this and much more!
