WNBA Future Watch: Angel Reese Basketball Cards, Chicago Sky – Angel Reese is an audacious presence on-court and off. Her rivalry with Caitlin Clark is one the WNBA is clearly hoping will become the 21st Century version of Magic-and-Bird. Initially bursting on the hardcourt scene at Saint Francis Academy in Baltimore, Reese led her squad to three consecutive IAAM championships and two conference titles. Averaging an otherworldly 18 PPG, 20 RPG and five APG, Reese helped carry Team Takeover to the EYBL National Championship. She also took home McDonald’s All-American honors and was rated the second highest-rated prospect in the country by ESPN.

Reese became the highest-rated prospect to ever attend Maryland, but a fractured foot interrupted her freshman season. Bouncing back, Reese became the first Maryland sophomore to average a double-double as she fronted the Terrapins to the Sweet 16.

The next double-double for a season would come in an LSU uniform as Reese relocated and achieved her national championship dreams. Furthermore, Reese became just the fifth player in SEC history to lead the conference in both scoring, with 23.0 PPG, and rebounding, with 15.4 RPG. Another statistical triumph as a senior with a strong run into March catapulted Reese to Chicago with the seventh pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft.

A silver medalist with the United States at the 2023 FIBA Women’s AmeriCup, Reese’s reputation as one of the premier winners of her generation preceded her at the pro level. Notching the first double-double for a rookie in WNBA All-Star history, Reese’s initial season ended with 13.6 PPG and 13.1 PPG. Shortly thereafter, Reese posted the first 20-20 game in the history of Unrivaled. She is literally becoming a star for all seasons – and one whose profile will be exceedingly high for as long as she plays.

Reese’s cards and stickers date to 2023 – which makes the sheer volume available absolutely staggering. So, it’s unsurprising that parallels and inserts are in wide supply. These include the 2023-24 Bowman Chrome University #49 1st Rookie RC Superfractor, 2024 WNBA Select Future Black Finite, and 2023 Bowman University No: 33 PSA 9 Superfractor. Of course, there’s plenty of great memorabilia available such as the 2024 Panini Origins WNBA Autographed Jersey.
