WNBA Future Watch: Madison Booker Basketball Cards, Texas Longhorns – Madison Booker has racked up several accolades thus far in her career. The latest one is one of the most notable: selection to the USA Basketball Women’s AmeriCup team. This opportunity marks Booker’s latest chance to augment her growing reputation as a “gold collector.” She has first-place medals from the 2023 FIBA U19 Women’s World Cup, 2022 FIBA U17 Women’s World Cup, and 2021 FIBA Women’s U16 Americas Championship.

Presently one of the top collegiate forwards in the country, Booker built her reputation playing for Germantown High School in Gluckstadt, MS. There, she led them to their first state championship. A selectee for the McDonalds All-American Girls Game, Mississippi Miss Basketball, and Mississippi Gatorade Player of the Year honoree, Booker earned a five-star recruit designation from ESPN and chose Texas over Duke, Tennessee, and other elite programs.

Booker entered the Longhorn program as starting small forward, but a season-ending injury to Rori Harmon provided Booker the chance to demonstrate her versatility by taking over at point guard. That development made her designation as Big 12 Player of the Year – the first freshman to achieve that honor – more impressive. She posted 16.5 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 5.0 APG, 1.5 SPG and .876 FT%. Moving back to small forward in 2024-25, Booker stayed strong with 16.0 PPG, 6.6 RPG, 1.6 SPG, .824 FT% and .403 3%.

With Texas’s move to the SEC, Booker took that conference’s Player of the Year award. She also added the Cheryl Miller Small Forward of the Year designation to her trophy case. A member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll in 2024-25, Booker’s intelligence and leadership are foundational to her burgeoning stardom. That stardom will only continue to grow.

Cards and stickers for Booker came out in 2023, with parallels and inserts on the market. Offerings are under the Topps Chrome McDonald’s All American imprint thus far. The Autograph Gold and Autograph Yellow versions are among the more valuable variations presently available on eBay.
