2020 Topps Chrome Formula 1 Racing Cards Checklist – Topps is about to release its second F1 set and is going to one of its signature brands, Chrome. Promising (10) Parallels or image variations in every box and an autograph in every second box, open wheel fans are going to get a good taste for what lies ahead in the trading card market. 2021 Topps Chrome F1 releases on Wednesday, April 21, 2021.

2021 Topps Chrome Formula 1 Racing Cards – Topps is proud and excited to partner with Formula 1 Racing to create this first-ever F1 chrome trading card product. Look for Chrome Autograph Cards falling 1:2 Boxes, and Find 10 Parallels or Short Prints in Every Box!

The 200-card base set for Topps Chrome F1 is a major draw, as these will be the first major-release cards for so many drivers. For collectors embarking on their first run at collectibles from the international racing circuit, there will be some education, but some names like Lewis Hamilton and Mick Schumacher will strike quickly.

The autograph program is unique in that these hits only fall once in every two boxes. For collectors used to getting one or two signatures in a box, this will present a rare opportunity to not only chase down multiple boxes, but also give a greater focus to the aforementioned base set. There are plenty of international names to pluck when you do strike lucky, such as Valtteri Botas, Roy Nissany and Christian Lundgaard, which will translate to great competition for ink on the secondary market.

Additionally, Topps is giving collectors a good try at some image variations that have become popular in other products, along with some cool inserts. None, perhaps, are more appealing than the 1954 Topps World on Wheels tribute program. The original set featured a wide range of makes and models for cars of the day, and has a very strong appeal that should translate well for 2021.
