Future Watch: Adam Trautman Football Cards, New Orleans Saints – Adam Trautman was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft. This 6-5, 253-pound tight end could be Drew Breesbest friend at some point this season but let’s see how he got there.

Trautman grew up in Williamsburg, Michigan and made a name for himself at Elk Rapids High School as a two-sport star in basketball and football. As a quarterback, he set every passing record at the school!

Trautman then attended the University of Dayton and redshirted his freshman season as he changed positions from quarterback to tight end.  During this season, Trautman had 24 catches for 238 yards and three touchdowns.

In 2017, Trautman had 43 catches for 537 yards and five touchdowns. The following season, Trautman had 41 receptions for 604 yards (leading the Flyers in both categories) and nine touchdowns and was voted to the All-PFL Second Team for the second time.

In his senior year, this phenom was voted an All-American by six different outlets. Why? He had 70 catches for 916 yards and 14 touchdowns with a long of 42 yards, the longest of his career. He was also a member of the PFL All-Academic Honor Roll.

Trautman killed it at the NFL Combine, running a 4.8 in the 40-yard dash with a 34.5 vertical leap.

Collectors can find rookie cards of Trautman in 2020 Panini Prizm Draft PicksImmaculate Collegiate and Certified to name a few. He has other cards in Leaf Draft.

Trautman is having a good camp, and the Saints are figuring out a role for the rookie. Will he emerge this season? It depends on his reps. New Orleans is a stacked team but that gives hobbyists time to start collecting him before he becomes a starter.
