At 5-10, 183 pounds, this speedy left winger has some gifts, that’s for sure.

In three seasons with the Barrie Colts he had two in which he scored over 100 points in each. In 195 games he amassed 261 points! 118 of them were goals. Clearly, he was dominating at the OHL level and he turned pro in 2016-17.

In his first season with the Stockton Heat he had 41 points and 20 goals in 66 games. He got some postseason experience potting one goal and notching two assists in five of those games.

Last January he got called up to the big club. He played in 10 games but didn’t notch a point. At the AHL level he had 46 points in 35 games with 21 goals. At the age of 21 things are looking up for the Bolton, Ontario native.

You can find his 2017-18 Young Guns rookie card in Upper Deck Series 2 hockey. He also has a rookie card in SP Authentic.

Here’s a look at a three-point night he had in the American Hockey League:

In March he had to shut his season down as he got shoulder surgery. He was one of the best players in the AHL and Calgary is very excited about his continued progress. He has a pro shot and great hockey sense, all needed to play at the next level.

This is a big year for this talented prospect. He will get a real shot to make the big club. His summer workout program and training camp could open some eyes. He will need to perform well in preseason games and if all that happens he may be that next guy who breaks through.
