Future Watch: Logan Woodside Rookie Football Cards, BengalsFuture Watch: Logan Woodside Rookie Football Cards, Bengals Logan Woodside was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 7th round of the 2018 NFL Draft. This Franklin, Kentucky native could be one of the least known quarterbacks in his draft. It didn’t help that he attended the University of Toledo.

In his first season there he got a chance to play when the starter got injured. He made 11 starts and in his second-best game, he threw for 322 yards and three touchdowns, that was his debut! He did have another game where he threw for five touchdowns as well. They ended the season co-Mac West champions.

In an odd twist, he was redshirted in 2015.

In 2016 he threw for 4,129 yards with 45 touchdowns and nine interceptions. That season he threw for 505 yards and five touchdowns in a game. He was a first-team All-Mac.

In 2017, he threw for 3,882 yards and 28 touchdowns alongside eight interceptions. By the end of the season, he threw for a school record, 10,083 yards in his career. Once again, he was first-team All-MAC, MAC Offensive Player of the Year and he got the Vern Smith Leadership Award. His team was 10-2. They won the Conference championship against Akron, the first time they played in that game since 2004.

Here’s a good look at this prospect.

Woodside did get a DUI arrest this offseason and hopefully he learned from that. The team didn’t cut him and he’s thankful for that. At 6-2, 209 pounds he should be Andy Dalton’s backup this season.

You can find rookie cards of him in 2018 Panini Contenders Draft Picks, Luminance, and Score. If you want him in his Toledo gear, Leaf Valiant Draft is an option.

If you want to take a risk; start loading up on this intriguing prospect. Dalton won’t be the Bengals starter forever and this guy could seemingly come out of nowhere one season.
