Future Watch: Michael Warren II Football Cards, Philadelphia Eagles – The Eagles signed Michael Warren II after he wasn’t selected in the 2020 NFL Draft. Was Philly smart to jump at the opportunity?

Warren first starred at Central Catholic High School in Toledo, Ohio. In 2016, his senior year, Warren averaged 8.95 yards per carry and broke the team’s single-game rushing record with 385 yards! He won the Mr. Football Award as the best football player in Ohio.

In 2017, this talented running back saw his first action at the University of Cincinnati on special teams as well as on kick return, where he averaged 23.1 yards. Overall, he gained 324 yards and had one rushing touchdown.

In 2018, Warren gained 1,329 yards and had 19 touchdowns with a long rush of 81 yards and was the 2018 Military Bowl MVP. In 2019, Warren had 1,265 yards and 14 touchdowns and, for the second time, he was named a Second-Team All-American Athletic Conference honoree. Following this, Warren decided to forego his senior season to enter the NFL Draft.

He was unable to run at the NFL Combine because of a hamstring injury but he did push 16 reps on the bench press.

At 5-9, 226 pounds, he can move once he has the ball in his hands:

Warren has appeared in a few sets so far this year, including Chronicles Draft Picks.

An injury to one of the Eagles regulars, Miles Sanders has opened the door for Warren. He scored a touchdown in a recent scrimmage, and he’s starting to get some reps. This guy will get his shot in the NFL, and he could a great sleeper player to collect.
