Many football fans are waking up this morning still scratching their heads at the baffling play call by the Seattle Seahawks that handed the Super Bowl XLIX victory to the New England Patriots. After another miraculous catch that seemed to seal the Patriots’ fate, yet again, the Seahawks passed the ball from the 1/2-yard line instead of pounding it on the ground with running back, Marshawn Lynch. The Seahawks were punished by the football gods as the ill-fated pass was picked off.
