Leaf Signs NHL’s Jack Eichel to Exclusive, Multi-Year Autographed Trading Card Deal – Leaf is pleased to announce it has reached a multi-year exclusive trading card autograph deal with super prospect, Jack Eichel.
“Working with Jack Eichel along with Peter Fish and Mark Witkin at Global Hockey Consultants has been an exciting process”, says Brian Gray, CEO of Leaf Trading Cards. Gray adds, “We are excited that we could reward Jack’s awesome talent with this record setting deal, likely making this the most exciting day in my career at Leaf!” Gray went on to say, “This deal will allow the company to exclusively market signatures of the future star for the foreseeable future. This deal is the most lucrative trading card deal for any rookie in the history of Hockey!!!”
Jack Eichel will be prominently featured in all 2015-2016 Hockey releases from Leaf including packaging, autograph and memorabilia cards. “Jack is easily the most NHL ready player in the 2015 draft. Unlike some other 2015 draftees, he has no autograph cards on the market. Leaf has the unique opportunity to insure collectability and tremendous value for one of the greatest, if not the single greatest, American hockey prospect of all-time.”, Gray continued.
The exact details of the deal are not being announced but Gray noted, “This is easily the most lucrative autograph trading deal for any rookie in the history of the sport. He joins the ranks of Lebron James, Cam Newton and Kris Bryant as the largest rookie autograph deals in their respective sport. We think Jack is the kind of special athlete that deserves to join this elite club.”
Eichel’s first autographed cards will be included in Leaf’s upcoming 2015 Superlative Hockey releasing in November, 2015.
