In 2014, Rooker redshirted, but in 2015, he played a bit more hitting two home runs with 15 RBI. They needed to start seeing results in 2016, and this prospect delivered with a .324 batting average, 11 home runs, and 54 RBI. He helped lead the Bulldogs to the Southeastern Conference Championship. Then he played summer baseball in Cape Cod and was an All-Star. He was starting to scratch at his potential. In 2017, he slugged 12 home runs with 82 RBI and a.387 batting average. He was the SEC Player of the Year and the Collegiate Baseball National Player of the Year.

MLB Future Watch: Brent Rooker Goes Pro

Rooker came to the pros in 2017. His big forearms and powerful uppercut helped his home run totals. By 2018, Rooker had 40 minor league home runs and was playing AA for the Chattanooga Lookouts.

He hit 14 home runs and .281 in 2019. The 2020 season was lost for him for various reasons, but 2021 looked much better. While playing for the St. Paul Saints, Rooker hit three home runs in his first four innings! After hitting 20 home runs in 62 games, he got his second chance playing with the big club in a July call-up.

With the Twins, he was hitting home runs at a good clip. His average was 90.5 MPH and his hard hit % was 47.2. The Twins were looking for power and they found it. Now it would be a matter of consistency to see if he’d found a permanent home. So far, so good.MLB Future Watch: Brent Rooker Baseball Cards, Minnesota Twins

Rooker’s 2021 Topps Chrome rookie autograph card is one that should be targeted. His value hasn’t skyrocketed yet and that’s good for speculators.

Another card I really like is his 2021 Topps Stadium Club rookie autograph. The photo shows how he can hold two of his bats in one hand. That’s not easy to do and it really shows the collector how strong this guy is.

Rooker’s 2021 Topps Gypsy Queen autographed rookie card shows the power hitter in action with his armor on his elbow. That card, with him in pinstripes, makes this a very desirable card for any collector.
