MLB Future Watch: Colt Keith Baseball Cards, Detroit TigersMLB Future Watch: Colt Keith Baseball Cards, Detroit Tigers – Colt Keith was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the fifth round of the 2020 MLB Amateur Draft. He was a star at Biloxi High School in Biloxi, Mississippi. He was named Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year in after batting .527 with 9 home runs and 49 RBI. His senior year was shortened due to COVID-19, and then he was drafted.

Keith signed with the Tigers rather than going to Arizona State University. He ended up playing with four teams in 2021. His last stop was with the Western Michigan IceCaps in A+ ball. His combined numbers were 8 doubles, 5 triples, 2 home runs, 32 RBI, and 4 steals. That was a solid foray into professional baseball.

2022 was a good year for the infield prospect. Keith can play second or third base. He played the full season in A+ ball and entered in fall ball after that. He hit 14 doubles, 3 triples, 9 home runs, 31 RBI with 4 steals, and a .301 batting average. It was another great year for the Tigers prospect.

In 2023, he started in AA in Erie and ended his season in AAA with Toledo playing for the Mud Hens. His combined numbers were 38 doubles, 3 triples, 27 home runs with 101 RBI, and a .306 batting average. What a season! At 22, he was on pace to play in the big leagues in 2024.

He played with the Tigers in Spring Training. In his first 18 at-bats, he had 4 hits, 2 doubles, 4 RBI, and a .222 batting average. I’ll guess that he starts the season in Toledo. But he could get an early call-up if the Tigers need it.

One card to get is Keith’s 2020 Bowman Draft Baseball. This chrome autograph is already very popular, and the photo shows him throwing the baseball.

Another fun card is from the 2024 Topps Baseball Tigers Top Prospects 4-way card. These cards have been desirable from dads to their kids over the years.

One last fun card is his 2021 Topps Heritage Autograph. The autographed card looks like a 70s style. The photo shows him on the steps getting ready to hit the batting circle when it’s his turn. It’s a must collect.
