MLB Future Watch: Dylan Crews Baseball Cards, Washington NationalsMLB Future Watch: Dylan Crews Baseball Cards, Washington Nationals – Dylan Crews was drafted by the Washington Nationals with the second overall pick in the 2023 MLB Amateur Draft. This powerful outfielder has a lot of promise and is a franchise player.

After starring at Lake Mary High School in Lake Mary, Florida, Crews committed to Louisiana State University. He got to play in 62 games in 2022. In 249 at-bats, he hit 11 doubles, 4 triples, 22 home runs with 72 RBI, and five stolen bases. His .463 on-base percentage was outrageous, and his OPS was 1.153! That was some year.

In 2023, he played in 72 games. He had 259 at-bats, hitting 16 doubles, 2 triples, 18 home runs with 70 RBI, and 6 stolen bases. This season, he had a .567 on-base percentage, with a 1.280 OPS. He scored an astonishing 100 runs. In 222 innings, he never made an error in the outfield. Crews won the Bobby Bragan National Collegiate Slugger Award as the nation’s best hitter. He added the very prestigious Golden Spikes Award as the top amateur baseball player in the country.

After the draft, for the rest of 2023, Crews played for three teams ending the season in AA with the Harrisburg Senators. His combined numbers were 9 doubles, 5 home runs, and 29 RBI with 4 steals and a .292 batting average. His slugging percentage was .467, and his career was off and running.

Crews can hit all fields. He has strong forearms and can hit an ankle-high ball out of the ballpark. He is a can’t-miss prospect that should be collected no matter what. If you wait for him to hit the big leagues, it’s probably too late.

MLB Future Watch: Dylan Crews Cards Worth Chasing

One card to get is Crew’s 2018 Panini Stars and Stripes. He was playing 15U baseball at the time.

Another card is 2023 Panini USA Stars and Stripes. The card shows him in the outfield while representing his country as part of the collegiate national team.

Another great card is his 2019 Leaf Perfect Game Nike All-American Autograph. The card shows him in his LSU gear after a mighty swing. The autograph reminds me of stars of yesteryear who had perfect signatures, so that was nice to see.
