MLB Future Watch: Parker Meadows Baseball Cards, Detroit Tigers – Parker Meadows was drafted 44th overall by the Detroit Tigers in the 2018 MLB Amateur Draft, and he is following in his older brother’s footsteps. Austin Meadows has been in the league for six years, most recently with Detroit.
Parker is 6’5” so there is an expectation for him to be a power hitter. In 2018, he played Rookie Ball and ended the season in Short-A with the Connecticut Tigers. Between the two leagues, Meadows hit 3 doubles, 1 triple, 4 home runs with 10 RBI and 3 stolen bases with a .290 batting average and a .473 slugging percentage. It was a good first season.
In 2019, he played in Full-A with the Western Michigan Whitecaps. In 126 games, he had 15 doubles, 2 triples, 7 home runs with 40 RBI and 14 steals. His 52 runs helped cap off a nice season where more of his power showed.
In 2020, he didn’t play organized ball which happened to a lot of players during the pandemic.
In 2021, he went from A-Ball to A+ Ball. Meadows hit 16 doubles, 2 triples, 8 home runs with 45 RBI with 9 steals and 52 runs scored. There was more improvement for sure.
In 2022, he played for two more teams as he moved up the ladder. He started in A+ ball to AA with the Erie SeaWolves. This was his year, as he hit 25 doubles, 7 triples, 20 home runs and 58 RBI with 17 stolen bases with a .270 batting average. He was back to a .473 slugging percentage, and he was closer to cracking the big-league roster.
In 2023, he spent most of the year in AAA with the Toledo Mud Hens. Meadows hit 27 doubles, 7 triples, 19 home runs with 65 RBI and 19 stolen bases with a .474 slugging percentage. Another fine season. He did get 37 games in Detroit where he hit 3 home runs and had 13 RBI with 8 steals.
Meadows was hitting .346 with 3 home runs and 4 RBI and two steals. He could make the final roster this season.

One card to get is Meadows’s 1st Bowman Draft Chrome Refractor. It shows him in his Tigers uniform on a reverse angle shot of his swing.
The next card could be his 2024 Topps Series 1 Star Rookie. It’s a nicely designed card with his autograph and another look at his batting stance.
One last card could be his 2017 Leaf Perfect Game autograph card. These on-card autos will be sought after.
