He first starred at Elizabethton High School in Tennessee. This big outfielder has the stuff.

In 2021, he played his first season. He didn’t get any extra work in after the draft because of the pandemic.

In A-Ball, with the Down East Wood Ducks, he hit 8 doubles, 1 triple, 2 home runs, and 12 RBI with 12 steals and 22 runs scored. Carter had a stellar .438 on-base percentage. He played in just 32 games.

In 2022, he played for two teams. First in A+ Ball, and ending in AA. His combined numbers were 21 doubles, 10 triples, 12 home runs with 73 RBI and 28 steals. His on-base percentage was .397, and his slugging percentage was up at .489. Carter had 78 runs scored in 100 games. He had slugger numbers.

2023 was a big year of development for this prospect. He played for three teams, ending his season in AAA with the Round Rock Express. In 420 at-bats, he hit 17 doubles, 6 triples,13 home runs with 67 RBI, 26 steals, and .288 batting average. His .413 on-base percentage and .450 slugging percentage were terrific. Carter played in 15 games for the Texas Rangers and hit five home runs with 12 RBI. He played in 17 postseason games. There, he hit 9 doubles, 1 home run with 6 RBI, and got a ring in his rookie season!

In 11 spring training games, he hit 2 home runs with 9 RBI and a .357 batting average. His slugging percentage is .607! He is going to be a big part of the Ranger’s quest to repeat as champions in 2024.

One card to get is Carter’s 2024 Topps Series 1 Rookie. It shows him in action after a hit. The card has a lot of visual appeal.

There’s a nice card of him in the 2020 Leaf Trinity set. He has patch autographs, and they look great. The photo looks like one of his minor league teams.

One last card is his 2020 Bowman Draft Baseball. It’s a nice shot of him running the bases in his Rangers red uniform.

This guy is a future star. Collect him at all costs. This could be a big year for him, and he’s only 21.
