MLB Future Watch: Everson Pereira Baseball Cards, New York YankeesMLB Future Watch: Everson Pereira Baseball Cards, New York Yankees – Everson Pereira signed as an international free agent with the New York Yankees back in 2017. At the time, he took a modest amount of money for today’s standards and turned professional. He went to Rookie Ball in 2018.

In 2018, Pereira hit just .151 with a .233 on-base percentage. It was a start, but a slow start at that. The next year would be very important for his development.

In 2019, he only played in 18 games, but he had injuries to his foot and hamstring. This was now turning into a bigger setback for the talented outfielder.

The 2020 campaign was a lost season due to the pandemic. As a result, Pereira didn’t get to play anywhere and wouldn’t play again until 2021. That outcome wasn’t ideal, but those were the cards he was dealt.

In 2021, he started off in Low-A and ended up in High-A with the Hudson Valley Renegades. His combined numbers were 19 home runs and 54 RBI with nine steals, and 44 runs scored.

In 2022, Pereira started out with Hudson Valley and ended up in AA with the Somerset Patriots. His combined numbers were 14 home runs, 56 RBI with 21 steals in 102 games. A very productive year, and his development was back on track.

In 2023 he started in Somerset and ended up playing for the Scranton/Wilkes Barre RailRiders. Playing in 81 games, he batted .300 with 18 homers and 64 RBI with 11 stolen bases and a .371 on-base percentage. In late August, he was called up to play for the Yankees. In 93 at-bats, he had 14 hits, 10 RBI, and 4 stolen bases. For the soon-to-be 23-year-old, that was a good year of development.

MLB Future Watch: Everson Pereira Cards Worth Chasing

One card to look for is Pereira’s 2024 Topps Series 1 Chrome Mojo Rookie. It shows him in his Yankees uniform while fielding a ball in the outfield.

Another cool card is his 2023 Immaculate Autograph card. The autograph is clear, and it looks like it’s on card. Considering the hype behind Pereira, this is a cheaper card to shoot for.

One last card could be his 2020 Bowman Chrome 1st Prospect Autograph. It’s a great looking card, showing him at-bat and the signature is sharp. You can’t do much better than that.
